Overview
About Me
I'm a young guy excited about art, history, philosophy, and interesting people. I haven't traveled a lot, or that far for that matter, so I look forward to that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am currently planning a trip around Europe, to try and find a city for me to live in for an uncertain period of time. I imagine that CS will be a great way to explore and truly experience these cities through the locals. I'm looking forward to try this method of traveling, and hopefully it will be a catalyst for new and meaningful friendships.
Interests
I recently started making films, which I like tremendously at the moment. The medium is great for expressing emotions, atmospheres, thoughts and stories.
Music is a big part of my life. I play the drums, and I like to write as well, even though I haven't done that in a while.
I like reading a lot. I'm currently working my way through classic literature. I don't know why I feel I have to do that. Luckily, it is enjoyable.
I don't know much about painting or poetry, even though I find it interesting and enjoyable. Hope to explore that field in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books
To name a few
Jeff Buckley/Radiohead/Bon Iver/S. Carey/Beck/Sigur Ros/David Bowie/Lou Reed/ ... Everything with hard work behind it.
Paul Thomas Anderson/Wes Anderson/Jim Jarmusch/Wim Wenders/Werner Herzog/Lars von Trier/Terry Gilliam/Alejandro G. Inarritu/Spike Jonze/Tarantino
Dostojevskij/Günther Grass/Erlend Loe/Jack Kerouac/Paul Auster/James Joyce
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
First thing that comes to my mind right now: Signing up for the Potemkin Film College. Being somewhat weary of the thoughts of my potential future in the music business, my mind rationally concluded that I should pursue an even more uncertain and self-destructing profession: Filmmaking. It doesn't make any sense, but I think it was a good choice.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Dry sense of humor. Thoughts. Laughs. An expression of awe towards parts of your every day life, I believe.
It is hard to predict that, actually. As long as both you and I are engaged in the situation, I believe something good has got to come out of it.
