Hello, my name is Benito, but my family and friends always call me Ben.
I am 53 years old and eventually starting enjoying life. I started travelling around last year. I don't say I had never travelled before, but I started do it in another way and with another mind. Last year I got out of Europe for the first time in my life and my first trip was Africa, Morocco, Marrakech. I had found a host in middle of the suk. You can imagine how big my surprise was ... It was like I hand landed on another planet. Another culture indeed, but actually not worse than ours. Most of all, a culture still based on a big sense of community.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was on couch surfing before, till now I had a very good experience in Nancy (France). I was hosted by a Spanish boy, who was teaching in the domain of forests at that time. That was last year. I would like have more such experiences, but sometimes it's hard to find real couch surfers, instead of the ones who like to belong to the clan, just for the name.

Interests

My most favorite is music. I like to listen and to discover all kinds of music. Discovering is very important to me, because music is communication and maybe the one that reveals ones personality most, not really by the style of music he prefers, because a style is only a human way to "classify" everything. The human being wants to put a name on everything.

I don't read a lot, never watch TV, certainly not to "coloured" information given by news-programs. When I read, I like to read some philosophically tainted wores.

I have become quite communicative, more than earlier in my life and I like to share otherone's experiences, certainly in dialogues, where the interlocutor has got the possibility to ask a question and this in both directions.
