I'm a 21 y.o. student in English language teaching department in Çukurova University. Traveling when I have an opportunity, if not, just trying to widen my view in life by communicating with foreigners. I'm an easygoing person who would like to walk around in a city to feel how it is to be in there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel and get to see new people as I previously mentioned, the thing about using this site is I can travel in a place while avoiding to be a total tourist. Meeting with locals is the best opportunity and the best way to know about a new place I guess.

Interests

The thing I'm the most interested in is probably the languages and other cultures, always curious to learn about the "others". I'm also quite into movies, I've always wanted to direct a movie, so I'm very open if you have any ideas about it :) Besides of these things I like sports as well, especially basketball. Also I'm interested in politics, it's difficult not to be interested in it when you live in Turkey.

Music: The Smiths and Morrissey, Madonna. I also like house and techno music as much as I like those two pop music legends. Paradis, The Blaze, Gesaffelstein and Röyksopp are my favorite bands. I also like Björk and James Blake.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being on the stage for my high school's theater club. It was not a great one but still being there was very exciting.

Also traveling some of the Europe, mainly Germany, on my own was a nice experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

The primary thing to share is the memories on couchsurfing, in my opinion. Either you're a host or a guest, you get to meet someone new thanks to this site and which means having some new memories with someone new. I can teach about Turkish culture and language while I'm open to learn about anything interesting. Also I can share things about cinema, have a nice chat on sports as well.
