I live in Afyonkarahisar with my homemate. We are both teachers and we love travelling to different countries so much that we prefer going abroad rather than going on holiday in Turkey. We are also backpackers. We always choose different countries each summer. Tasting variety of foods and drinks, visiting the famous museums, seeing the cultures of the people we meet are our hobbies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to see more countries or cities by spending less money. As you know, the accomodation can be very expensive in some countries. Also I really want to meet people living in the country which I want to visit.

Interests

I love watching movies. I don't really like Hollywood or Bollywood movies. I usually prefer independent films from all around the world. I also follow the American series "Shameless".
I wonder about sign language so I'm starting to learn it soon.
I also love cycling and I try to join in the cycling festivals in Turkey.

I prefer to listen to alternative rock music, jazz music and I really love ethnic musics all around the world like Gypsy Kings, Light in Babylon, Yasmine Hamdan
I love soundtracks, as well, like the soundtrack of the films of Ferzan Özpetek.
My favourite films are independent films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cycled 100 kilometres on a difficult track for 2 days in a festival.
