Hi guys!
I finished high school a bit over two months ago and now I'm doing a gap year - hence couch surfing. I try to move around a lot and work in different places and environments. So far I've been working in London but now I am planning on changing the scenery to Denmark if I can swing it :) First though a bit of a break from work and a trip to Vilnius!

About me:
I am a very open person always curious to learn about all sorts of different things. Going out of my 'comfort zone' and challenging myself is kind of a hobby of mine :)
When it comes to actual interests I am currently learning IT on my own - programming, information security, that kind of thing. I am also a very geeky person - tabletop/video games are my thing and recently I found myself swaying more towards the oldschool - got my GameBoy Advance to play classic games and I use most of my transfer data on watching anime and movies from the 80s and 90s.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined to have the chance to travel around the world, be part of an amazing community and meet members of it. I hope to have a good time :)

Interests

In life my general interests are very varied. I love history and languages but at the same time I'm very keen on programming and science in general. A bit weird, I know :)
When it comes to what I like to do when travelling, that would entail having long walks, sightseeing but not only the mainstream places - I love the run down parts of cities that are usually avoided by tourists. I then usually take a lot of pictures of those places :)
I also love long talk about different things and sharing experiences with others.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music very much depends on my current mood. It can be anything from dubstep through acoustic music to metal. I love the 80's music though and that is always going to be true :)
Movies - hmm a tough one. I like a lot of genres - fantasy, crime, thrillers, psychological - anything that catches my eye basically. I like the movies to make sense and change my view of things as well.
Books - again varied interests here as well. I used to be big on fantasy but recently I moved over to sci-fi a bit more. Also I started to stock up on English and Russian classics :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been born! I know right? Such an amazing thing :) Only after that was I able to experience all the wonderful stuff Earth has to offer :) I am really glad I was able to do that.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach someone the basics of programming (I started like a month ago so not too much but still). I can also help with English and Polish and if someone wanted to practice Japanese alongside me I'd be more than thrilled :)
I can also cook a bit and bake some delicious things :) usually with chocolate so if you are into chocolate and not lactose intolerant - we could be best buddies :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well I can share interests, views, meals and time :) I can share fun and experiences - and I think this is the main reason for my joining this community. I can share my skills and interests in different things.
