I am a friendly and respectful person. I love animals and I am studying Veterinary degree in Lugo (Galicia, Spain). I like travelling, going hiking, nature, reading, learning about other cultures and going out with friends.
I am in Lugo from September to November and February to April, so I can host people only on those months.

I like to know about different cultures and life styles and I think that travelling and meeting people from another countries is the best way to get it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I like books that let me get an idea of what life was like in the past or how it is in other countries, so I really love historical novels as "Child of the Morning" (Pauline Gedge) and books as "East Wind, West Wind" (Pearl S. Buck), "Tuareg" (Alberto Vazquez Figueroa) or "A thousand splendid suns" and "The kite runner" (Khaled Hosseini). I also love novels about human relationship with animals and nature, for example "The call of the wild", by Jack London, or "Juicio a los humanos", by José Antonio Jáuregui. I like adventure novels, and my favourite book is "The Count of Monte Cristo", by Alexandre Dumas, who is, besides, one of my favourite authors. I like classic Spanish novels, and I especially like "Don Quijote de la Mancha", "Don Juan Tenorio" and "La vida de Lazarillo de Tormes". I like the tales by Edgar Allan Poe, I love "Memoirs of a Geisha" (Arthur Golden) and "Les Miserables".

Movies: I like romantic movies, drama movies, adventure movies and historical movies. Besides, I really like movies about our relationship with animals, nature and our planet, as "The Emerald Forest". I like some science fiction movies, as "Avatar". My favourite films are "V for vendetta" and "Braveheart".

Music: mainly pop and pop rock.

I can help you to improve your Spanish and I would like to improve my English. I can show you the city where I live and I can show you some good places to taste typical dishes of Spanish cuisine and especially of Asturias and Galicia cuisine. I can show you some good places to go partying if you want to and I can recommend you some beautiful places to visit.
