I grew up in Slovakia, never feeling like I belonged. In high school I dreamed of the lush green of the jungle, but I gave in to my parents' expectations and went to study in Prague. After a year and a half, at the end of 2017, I made the best and the hardest decision of my life - I left my perfect job, appartment, a beautiful community of people and my interesting degree to go and travel in Central America. I could no longer deny the dissonance between my heart's desire + soul's purpose, and the actual reality around me. I made the decision to radically only do what my heart wants, which has led me on a beautiful journey - again and again reaffirming this decision.

On my journeys through Central and South America, Europe and India, I've shed skin more times than I can count, always following my intuition further. I realized there are people I can feel safe and home with. There are ways for me to express the overwhelming love I've always felt for life, Earth, humans, the universe. A big part of it is space holding - in yoga and ceremonies, as well as ayurvedic massage. That is my dharma.

I absorb teachings specific to the places I go.
I teach yoga, meditation and breathwork across the globe.

I just finished the season of holding yoga retreats in Corfu and my next steps go to Mexico.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe people are the most authentic source of experience the Earth has to offer us - or rather, faciliators of the experiences. And I believe it's not the place that matters, it's the people. So I'm here to get to know people and individual persons (and thus life) a bit better, as raw and authentic as they get. To see a bit of this breathtakingly beautiful Earth we find ourselves on is only a bonus.

Interests

I love the Earth and I love life with all the pain, pleasure, laughter and crying.
I love humans. I also love solitude.
I love discipline (yoga, breathwork, meditation, weight lifting, running, cycling,...) and I love rest and stillness.
I love music and I go crazy dancing and I really love silence too.
I love beautiful things, architecture, fashion, jewellery, art, movies, theater... but maybe I love swimming naked in a river and walking barefoot in nature even more :)
Oh and I really really love food. I love to cook and I love to eat vibrant foods.

I love my kindle and I have a list of 80+ books that are definitely gonna change my life but because changing my life is not easy, I only get through like two books a year. I read Recapture the Rapture this year and it was incredible! I'm reading Becoming Supernatural by Joe Dispenza now and it's amazing and I'll probably still be reading it when I meet you in the future.

I really really love art - music, painting, visual art, dance, poems, circus arts... any expression is so dear to my heart
