Hi!!! I'm from South Korea!! I have just finished my course being a medical doctor (in korea we have to spend extra years serving the military). But I'm not planning to do practice as a doctor... Well I have my reasons!!

Before I took any further next step, I decided to take a long journey. You know, because... it was now or never, never would have this long period!! I'm with my girlfriend on a 2 month trip through Eastern Europe, Balkan peninsula, Southern Europe, and Morocco also.

Me and my girlfriend have decided to join couch-surfing because throughout our last 3 weeks journey, we have figured it's not enough to know about the places we go. We learned that it's not all about sight-seeing. We want to meet people and want to know and learn their culture!!! It really is odd living in one place(Seoul) for your almost all of your life and then being in a different place with different rules, different life-styles. I think it's fascinating!!

South Korea is a very isolated country, nowhere to go without crossing the sea. One of the main reasons I'm traveling is because I want to experience different cultures, life-styles and learn more about the world.

Also I want to meet a lot of people other than only just sight-seeing. We are on our 3rd week of our 2 month journey and we've figured that we want to spend time with the people in the place. Me and my girlfriend are very talkative (not if you don't want to) and we'd love to talk anything you would like to talk about.

This is my first time ever on this very long trip and I would love to meet people from around the world.

Also, if you'd like to know anything about South Korea, we would gladly like to meet you.
