Hello there!
My name is Friederike and I'm 21 years old. Originally I was born in Marburg, a small university city close to Frankfurt. But after my Graduation 2016 I decided to travel a few countries and to collect some new experiences. So afterwards I spent time in Southeast Asia, New Zealand, Australia and some more countries. After coming home I noticed I really felt in love with traveling and I went for another adventure to India and Nepal. Especially India holds a special place in my heart and I will always come back to this incomprehensible beautiful country.
Right now I'm living in Muenster, Germany and studying culture- and social anthropology and religious sciences.

I'm always keen to meet new people, no matter if in Germany or any other countries. I love to interact with people from all over the world, to get to know you and your country and most important to share the feeling that your origin, your religion or your sexual orientation is not portraying you as a Individuum and it should not matter whether we get along or not.

Also I see the opportunity in getting to know different human beings, to realize we are different but also equal and we should all stand together in solidarity to “fight” for more peace and justice on this planet !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is the easiest opportunity to get to know people in a new country and to learn from them about the country, to get to know the best places, hidden spots, best parties and best people. I don't need a luxury hotel where I can get the same standard which I am used to in my home country, I want to feel and to explore the country itself and what makes this easier than meeting people from a country? In the same way I'm interested in showing you my home country/ town because Germany is way more than Berlin and October Festival ;-)

Interests

Of course I love traveling, what a surprise... but also I am always up for a good techno/ Goa party and some nice festivals somewhere in the middle of nowhere or hiking into national parks and enjoying the fortune of nature and this is the reason why it is so important for me so save this fortune.
I am part of different climate justice movements in Germany and international and the topic of how we can act and what we have to change to protect not only our or our children's future but also the people who are suffering because of our capitalist lifestyle right now. These are questions which are accompany my life right now and I am always interested in listening to your opinion and to discuss with you and maybe to find some answers to my questions :-)
