I love to be outside, walking and taking pictures 📸. Being in a big city or in the middle of nowhere make me exciting because I'm curious about everything and I juste want to enjoy life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to easily meet and be with people of different ages, social levels, with different hobbies, life experience, point le view, hopes and wishes for their life... It's just a way to be more open-minded and learn from the people, which is part of my travel gaol. It's also a win-win experience, both give and both receive something from the other. What is better than spending time with locals how know their city, like to share and live with people? ☺️

Interests

My work is one of my passions, I actually miss it since I'm travelling, what's why I always like to go to some artistic places when I'm abroad 🖌. Fascinated by the homemade and handmade products, visiting talented people make me day great. Never without my camera, I'm more confident by taking pictures of nature than people 📸. Photography is one of my skills that I really want to improve, so if you have any experiences, that would be great to share that with you!

Music, Movies, and Books

Even if my name if Mélodie, I don't have strong feelings with music, The worst thing you can ask me is to choose and play a song, I'm a really bad DJ 🙈
I'm not a movie person but I like series more and I'm currently watching Orange is the new black 😃. Watching Tv is a waste of time for me, I prefer to be outside, doing workout or plan my next trip. But after a long day, I also enjoy to rest a bit and watch my serie 😊

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Leaving France to make a worldtrip is the most amazing decision I made.
The most emotional experience I have since I travel was in the island of Vanuatu. I spent one week living with a tribe, one of the women was at 9 months of pregnancy. When the baby birl was born, they asked me to carry her and choose her a name 👶. It's was such a strong moment, full of emotions and of honor. I had the feeling to make one of the most difficult and amazing decision of my life. Since this time, baby was officially named Clara ❤️

Teach, Learn, Share

I really like cooking, so if you're a bad chef I can teach you or cook for you. Don't expect a fency meal, just a good one 😊
As I said before, that would great if I meet someone with photography skills and with some some free time to help me to improve 📸
Otherwise I like dancing salsa 💃 I'm a begginner but that's doesn't matter right?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to share my experiences and listen theirs, discuss about everything and understand their point of view. I also like the authenticity because it's about living the present and spontanous moment. Cooking and eating meals from different countries is one of my favourite part. What's best that sharing food with people around a table 🍽
