I'm 27, freelance translator English→Czech.

I love travelling (especially hiking or discovering the countryside of other states rather than cities and sights, although I like those as well), reading, running, playing the piano, listening to all kinds of music...

I'm interested in many aspects of Japanese culture, in language learning, art, music and movies.

Since most my hobbies up till now were for couch potatoes, I've decided to challenge myself more and take up some sports so aside from the walks and occasional runs I'd like to try rock climbing or bouldering. Lately, I've taken some interest in photography as well (thanks to my travels).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel and learn about other countries and cultures, but I currently don’t have much free time to go abroad (flow of work is too unstable now).
I'd like to meet more people and make new friends, but I'm kinda introverted and my hobbies are usually one-person only, so I thought this might be a nice opportunity to help someone travel in Czech Republic and get to know new people at the same time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One? I'll list two, sorry, I can't decide which is more amazing to me...

I've climbed some countries' highest peaks, e.g. Musala in Bulgaria or Mt. Fuji in Japan (the highest I've ever been except for flying).

I've been on a one-month road trip through Italy, France, Spain and Portugal. Recommended!
