About Me

My name is Vladimir, im from México City and im 30. Im a mexican musician, I play piano, drums and I'm a composer and an improviser.

I considered myself an intense human being, passionate and quite sensitive about life. I don't know why but dreams are really important to me, since I was a child I've been through a really weird, special, strong and shocking dream experiences. For me it's another reality with his own spaces, times and memories.

l like to be surrounded by nature but I have learn to live and love cities too, kind of love/hate situation sometimes, I fucking hate traffic, it's one of the most absurd and stressing situations that I could be in, at least if Im driving alone and/or with no music, otherwise it could be tolerable .

I need time to know and really experience things, i would say that the process of experience it's vital in my life and my approach to things and people.

To put in few words, I love to know rad people, make music, to play, to dance and to learn, express, share and feel in community.

Let's celebrate life as long as we can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not to kill myself and other friends who where with me in a van while we were touring. I was driving all across the Sierra with lots of curves, surrounded by really high cliffs. Suddenly the breaks fucked up and I was forced to solve this by pure intuition and some things that I can`t really understand nor describe but also we were lucky enough to be at that moment in a relative straight trame of the highway avoiding dangerous descents so we could slowdown until we were able to stop and get some help.

I'd turned into a pea in a dream, touching the water and getting out of a morbid dungeon where I was arrested by a crazy man (it was like Anton Chigurh from No country for old men), this is my oldest recollection of a dream, I think i was like 4 or 5 years old when it happened.

Had the fortune to experience a cosmic detachment a few times, sometimes rediscovering my parents house, other times traveling to unknown places like my death grandfathers head planet. and others just contemplate my physical body.

Theres a lot of stories that could take me a long time to tell, better if i tell you in person :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share with you music lessons (piano/keys, drums, composition, music theory, improvisation, deep listening sessions) and spanish lessons and of course, learn about you, about your city/hometown, your culture, your lenguage, just let the knowledge and experiences go on naturally.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to share a good talk (I'm a listener, hope you too), a good meal/dinner/etc (love to cook), let`s dance!!, hang out, explore and just have fun.

Just be yourself and have a f awesome time.
