Upon meeting me, you would learn that I am a Friendly, Kind, Curious, Open-minded, Deep-thinking person who is passionate about People, Adventure and Life. My personality is really on both sides of the spectrum; on the one side, I am Artistic and Creative, with hobbies such as Writing, Photography, Painting/Drawing, film, and listening to music. On the other side, I am an Explorative, Active, Animal- Enthusiast, Outdoor-Loving, wild woman :) This part of me loves Exploring new places, trying new things, lots and lots of Hiking, Volunteering at the animal shelter, Rollerblading, and Biking etc.
In May 2017, I embarked on my first solo trip.... and I never went back. It has been life changing. I lived in 4 different cities in Colorado for 4 months and 3 different cities in Texas for two months. Then, in November, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dream of acting.
In March 2019 my boyfriend and I will embark on the PCT.

The most attractive quality to me about Couchsurfing is the opportunity to meet people... and not just any person, but the kind of person who would welcome a stranger into their home... those are the kind of people I would love to meet and speak with!
I am passionate about travel and seeing new places and living a real, full, meaningful life... that's why Couchsurfing is ideal, it gives me the option to travel whilst young--which is the best time to travel! I am finding ways to travel on a low budget.

My favorite movies include: movies directed by Wes Anderson... The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom, Fantastic Mr. Fox. Every movie directed by Joe Wright... Pride and Prejudice, Atonement, Hanna, Anna Karenina. Movies directed by Baz Luhrmann... Moulin Rouge, The Great Gatsby, Australia. Dear Frankie, One Day, The Lake House, The Pianist. I also enjoy Danny Kaye movies and Bing Crosby films.
My Favorite book of all time is The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury.
Favorite Band is 10 Years, other bands: Tame Impala, Beck, Glass Animals, I am also fond of Beastie Boys for some good fun. Favorite songs: Eventually by Tame Impala, Bittersweet Symphony by the Verve,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have chosen to overcome my fears.
Having suffered from severe anxiety and social anxiety all my life, I have, at age 19, chosen to not allow it to control me or prohibit me from doing what I dream of. And what I dream of is travel, and, ironically, meeting people. Because I love people.
So here I am, solo traveling for the first time, adventuring, exploring, and meeting people...

I want to help and inspire people living with anxiety.
I've had crippling anxiety and a fear of basically everything... but my life story is that of overcoming those fears.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to think deeply. About all aspects of life, people, and relationships. I can offer deep, meaningful conversations. I can also offer kindness and empathy, and share my small town stories and perspectives. I can share my story of overcoming obstacles to be where I am now.
And of course, I would be happy to cook a meal, pick up around the house, walk the dog, to show my gratitude.
