About Me

I am French and have been used of travelling around. I am an easy-going and sociable guy who loves to hike, to sing next to a campfire and get to know new people.

I have lived abroad (Denmark, Canada, Colombia and now Spain) and love to talk english and spanish and would love to learn a fourth language, I just I just have to figure out which one hehe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS allowed me to discover places thanks to and with people from the different places I was visiting and it always has been an amazing experience. It gave me that constant need to go back on the road with my backpack and my CS app. I have met terrific people and made some great friendships, let's hope you'll be one of them ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I really can't pick any there are bunch of them that I like for different reasons.

I like "the alchemist" which, I think, should be in every CSurfer's pocket. I like also"Of mice and men"; "The lord of the rings" "Golden Spruce" just to name a few.

Music wise I am pretty down to listen any kind of music and I am always glad to discover some new songs or styles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lots of stories in storage and I don't know if amazing is the right word for that one but it's a good one.

While we were crossing the North Sea from Norway to Denmark, a friend of mine and I decided to go to the shopping area of the ferry boat. We took the elevator but arrived in a really small room, quite surprised we realized that we took the wrong elevator and arrived in the holds of the boat.

We laughed at first until we realized there was no button to call back the elevator. Of course we tried to use our phones but impossible to get a signal. The SOS phones you might say ? not working either. Someone around ? Of course not. Both stuck inside the holds for a 10h trip.

Going from door to door hoping to find an escape, we managed to open one and almost fell into the void from 4 meters high inside the parking area. while walking around, we were still trying to get a signal to reach out our friends and get some help. At one point laughing from desesperation we decided to give up, sit and wait. Just close to the place where we were sitting was a door, a door we decided to open hoping it might lead somewhere... the door....

I hope this beginning of story have caught your interest and I will be able to share the ending of this one and many others with you with a beer in the hands :)
