About Me

¡Hola a todos!

My name is Ramiro Najera and I'm from Mexico. I've been living in the charming city of Marseille since September 2016. Here I'm doing an apprenticeship (studies and working at the same time) as an Electonic Engineer in a interesting start-up that produces breathalyzers (yeah, unusual but so interesting by the way).

I started using Couchsurfing after I read a lot of good reviews about it. I found out that it's the best way to meet nice people and live new experiences during your travels.

About me, I'm an easy-going person who likes meeting new people from every country of the world. I really enjoy learning about your culture, your traditions, etc. I'm that kind of person who is always looking for something new to learn, so I'd would be glad to learn new things about you.

I like cooking (I try new recipes from all kinds of food every week), living new adventures and travels, hiking on the montains, etc.

If you want me to host you, please copy and paste "Zacahuil" at the beginning of your request, in that way I'll know that you have read my profile. Otherwise, I'll decline your request.

Merci!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here on CS because I think the best way to discover a city, a village or a country, is traveling with the people who live there. I've been using CS for many years and it's been a good experience. I've met some nice new people and learnt a lot! I'm really happy with that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music I listen depends of the season and my mood, so basically I listen all kinds of music. My favorite artists by far are: Mew, Jonsi, Sigur Ros, Gary Clark Jr, Natalia Lafourcade, Björk, Leon Brigdes and more.

I'm very bad with the name of movies, lol. But in general, I like adventure, dramatic and historical movies. Comedies are also welcome.

My favorite books are: "Between Shades Of Gray" (by SEPETYS, Ruta), "The Notebook" (by KRISTOF, Agota), "Le Petit Prince" (by De SAINT-EXUPÉRY, Antoine), "Games of Thrones" (by MARTIN, George R.R.).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The moment when I travelled alone for the first time. I was kinda afraid but the result was awesome: I met a lot of nice people, discovered such beautiful places.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you're learning either French or Spanish, I can help you with that! I can also show you the Mexican gastronomy and culture. I play some guitar and take prhotographies, I'm not the best but I could share these skills with you!

I'm willing to learn more about your country: traditions, language, gastronomy, etc. I'm specially interested in learning German because it's the language that I'm learning by myself at this moment.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A place where to stay and sleep, some food and a good friendship.
