About Me

My husband and I are a young couple. We love to travel, discover new experiences/places/cultures.

Typical Tom: practical, sportif, very fond of travelling, cooking, optimistic
Typical me: curious, talkative, also very fond of travelling, enthousiastic, love nature, good food,...

We're new on couchsurfing because we deceided to travel for one year. First we'll start in Australia, Tasmania & NZ. Then we'll continue at the bottom of South-America, travelling through Patagonia, Bolivia, Peru and ending up in Colombia.
There we'll take a plane to the Westcoast of the USA. We'll make a tour starting in San Francisco to LA spending most of our time in national parks with our tent.
Our final destination for this year will be the westcoast of Canada.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love to meet new people, who can show us around their city/country and teach us something about their culture/habits.
Couchsurfing can make travel experiences richer, locals can learn much more valuable things than anything written in travel guides like lonely planet/rough guides...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There is no 'one' amazing thing...there are many.
We like to enjoy every day.
One of our quotes is: Live the life you love, love the life you live.
We only live once, and if we do it right, once is enough.
The biggest adventure you can ever take is to live the life of your dreams.
That's also why we decided to stop our work/daily habits for one year and taking the adventure of traveling one year.
