My name is Sara, I'm a young girl from Madrid, Spain. I would say about myself that I'm a mature person but I also love to have fun. I think that I'm a funny, responsible, friendly, kind and also very open minded person.

I'm studying musicology and I love music, literature, art and, of course, traveling.

I'm in Couchsurfing because I love to learn new things and also visiting places and meeting new people and I think that traveling can give me all of that. Also enjoying experiences like this can make me improve and grow as a person.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I really love music, literature, cinema and art in general. My favorite music gender is indie but I also enjoy classical music, jazz, opera, pop, rock and folk. My favourites bands and musicians are Kings of Leon, Coldplay, The Drums, Mumford and Sons, Antony and the Johnsons, Jeff Buckley, Leonard Cohen, Amy Winehouse, Nina Simone... I can't name all of them because it's very difficult for me to choose just a few of them.

I also have a lot of interest in cinema. I really enjoy watching movies and I can't tell all of the films that I love but I can name a few of them like Manhattan, I'Origins, Café de Flore, París Texas, Once upon a time in America, Blade Runner and Life Aquatic. My favourites movie directors are Woody Allen, Wim Wenders, Jean-Marc Vallée, Wes Anderson and Francis Ford Coppola.

Literature is other of my passions, there's a few books that mean a lot to me like Madame Bovary (Gustave Flaubert), Tokio blues (Haruki Murakami), To kill a mockingbird (Harper Lee), and Bodas de sangre (Federico García Lorca). I also like poetry and some of my favourites poets are John Keats, Ángel González, Nicanor Parra and Samuel Taylor Colleridge.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

I think that the best thing that I have done is traveling. Thanks to my parents I have been able to travel to many places like Cuba, where I spent a month during summer for 4 or 5 years, Egypt, where I learnt a lot about other cultures, or Sweden.
