Hi! I've been a full time painter for four years. I specialize in murals. While I love painting, I'm burning out spending so much time in front of walls and I am finally taking a trip across the US this winter! I love playing guitar and singing, as well as painting landscapes from life. I love meeting people and listening to stories & also fun jaunty adventures in new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm hoping to see the US from the inside out! While I love some museums and touristy things, I'd love to meet locals who know the good spots and who feel like conversing about any and everything. I find new people and places very interesting. Also, I like making art or singing songs with my guitar for people. I'm very gregarious and will be driving alone, so it would be fun to meet new friends along the way!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- I'm definitely on a hip hop kick at the moment. I love the Roots, Tribe Called Quest, 2Pac, and am also into more current hip hop like Kanye, Jay-Z, etc.
Huge fan of Lauryn Hill as well. I'm also into Indie, some twangy country. I can vibe with just about anything!!
Movies- man, that's a huge one. I think Forest Gump is pretty solid. I'll watch anything. Swiss Army man was pretty crazy.
Books- anything by Tom Robbins, Neil Gaiman, Vonnegut, Kundera... crap. I like poetry too.
