I most recently joined this community, because I am currently traveling in Japan, and I would like to meet with locals and possibly finding someone who would host me. Shortly about me: I'm 21, I study medicine, I have traveled a decent amount. I speak Portuguese, because I have lived in with a Brazilian family for one year. I have also learned Spanish to some extent. I am very spontaneous, and I don't like to plan a lot on my travels, but I realise that this trait is not desirable for potential hosts, but I am new to couchsurfing and I have to learn. I will host visitors in Aarhus, but I live in a dormitory, so there would be no guestroom, only a mattress.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet locals, as all my best travel experiences have been where I have known locals. Also I wish to make my money last longer.
I also wish to contribute helping other travellers by hosting or meeting up with them in Aarhus, though I live a busy life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Broad music taste. Some examples: Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Brazilian Bossa Nova, Tom Waits, Damon Albarn.
My current favorite writers are Paolo Coelho and Haruki Murakami. One I also read a lot was Dan Brown.
Quentin Tarantino is my favorite director, and Kill Bill or Reservoir dogs are his best movies in my opinion. Danish movies are some of the best when it comes to dark comedies.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about my culture, and the culture of the places I have been. I can make many Danish dishes, required that I can find the right ingredients. I can teach a lot about sport and nutrition and medical knowledge, though I do not know a lot yet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Not that much to be honest. I live in a 12 m² room, but I make delicious food and have many activities to do. If the timing is right I can also show my home island or the northern part of Denmark.
