I'm Kyra and I work as a freelance writer and a part-time blogger. I honestly suck at describing myself, so here it goes. I'm a whitewashed Filipina, which is why I'm more Westernized than the rest of the population. If you want to learn about our culture, I could still teach you a thing or two. Uhm. I don't drink or smoke, but that doesn't mean I am no fun. I still go to parties and do the fun stuff other people do. :) Besides writing, I do love reading, playing some Xbox games and singing alone in the shower.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm gonna start traveling more this year to expand my horizons and to post more content on my blog. I've always been amazed by the differences in culture and I wanted to fully embrace it by staying in a country for more than a week minimum. My first stop this February is in Bangkok.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do love Jane Austen novels and I'm currently reading through all of Stephen King's books. However, I cannot choose a favorite movie or music, but I mostly love watching horror or psychological thrillers and listening to Taylor Swift. Hey, don't judge me. Hahaha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think it's when I quit my full-time writing position and transferred to the freelance writing position to have more control of my life.
