Hey, I'm YIJUN Weng (儀珺). I was born in Taipei which is one of the coolest cities in Asia.
Life is a journey filled with unexpected miracles. 7 years ago I worked and traveled in the USA (2017), and the journey changed me. Life is too short to waste time, there are so many beautiful places and awesome people in the world, I would like to make as many trips as possible in my life to see, learn, and to know others.

In 2019/2022, I studied in France majoring in Finance and Digital Marketing, a Crazy lover of macroeconomics and fintech, love to know more about investment and new technology. During my time in 2019/2020, I traveled a lot and met lots of people on Couchsurfing. I enjoyed it a lot and met some cool people with cool stories.

Currently, I live in Berlin and work here. I have been working in Taiwan since 2020 and I moved to Germany just in 2022. It's quite a story about how I got here in Berlin.

I'm a person with curiosity, always interested in others stories and learn from others around me :)
If you are interested in Asia culture, it would be awesome to exchange some thoughts. I speak Mandarin, Taiwanese, English, and a bit French. I am still learning German. It would also be cool to know the language you speak.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a cool way to make new friends and it's also a great chance to share life experiences with people from different countries. Everyone has stories, it would be awesome to know yours!!

Music, Movies, and Books

- Movies: I watched too many movies and series, such as Suits, Breaking Bad, dark (German), and TBBT. I'm a big fan of comedy :D

- Music: I do love listening to different types of music, but not specific. It would be a good chance to listen to a different kind of music.

- Writing: I've started to record my life experience by writing a blog since 2019 (September). It will be my pleasure to have you on my blog to record my Couchsurfing experience :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to the United States for the Work and Travel program for three months (2017), and that was one of the best choices in my life. I worked in one of the most famous amusement parks, Cedar Point, if you are interested in my experience in America, I would like to share:)
