About Me
Hi there!
I'm Rebeka, 24 years old student from Slovenia. An enthusiastic Social-Pedagogue-to-be, currently working besides my studies as a teacher in the 1st grade. I enjoy meeting new people, their culture, lifestyle, language. I love a good conversation accompanied by some good tea or beer. Or red wine, or coffee. :)
I'd describe myself as smiley, open-minded, spontaneous and relaxed. I am a neverending optimist.
There's a bit of introvert in me, so I also enjoy solitude, a good book, nature and all the outdoor activities. I love hiking, running and I recently started rock climbing. I sometimes get on better with animals than with people. :)
I prefer slow travelling that allows me to really connect with the place and the people there. I like using Workaway when travelling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people when travelling solo and maybe sometimes get a place to stay. I love the concept of community of travellers, just the good people sharing and being together.
I unfortunately can't host you in Ljubljana nor in Rovaniemi because my roomates aren't happy about it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: usually rock, sometimes something completely else.
Movies: Into The Wild, Captain Fantastic, The Bridges of the Madison County, Before trilogy, La vita é bella. Lots of others. :) I love everything that changes something inside me, that makes me think (or cry..).
Books: huh, just about anything...?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to do Workaway on my own and doing lots of interesting jobs (like babysitting French kids without speaking French, that was fun:), catching horses in fights/fire/whatever crazy situ
ation that was not that fun). Doing internship in one amazing nature kindergarten in Denmark, working with children and watching them playing with knives and axes, all without speaking any Danish, one of the best experience in my life. :) Surviving Lappish winter as a Mediterranean girl. :) Driving some insane roads on a scooter in SE Asia. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Just myself. :) A chat, a drink, if you're up for it. I can teach you some of my mother language, Slovenian, the unique language only about 2 million people speak.
