Overview
About Me
I'm Filipa from Portugal and I was born and raised in a city nearby Porto.
I love learning new languages even if it's something as simple as learning "hello" and "thank you". I also love traveling (obviously), reading, writing, photography, nature, fashion, practicing sports- and learning new ones!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since little I've always been fascinated by the world around me: the different places, traditions, food and people, it all seemed so interesting. So, when I heard of the Couchsurfing concept I decided to join, simply because it's such a great way to meet people from all around the world and share a little bit of our own heritage with each other.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Anything from rock to jazz, the important part is to relate to the song or to just have fun!
Films: Who doesn't love a good comedy?
Books: Dan Brown, José Rodrigues dos Santos, Daniel Silva, ... I love mystery books, specially if they have a little bit of History in them but I also enjoy reading the classics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to the UK on a exchange in 2012 and we stayed in a boarding school full of other international students. We've visited some sites around London but we also got the opportunity to visit London during the Olympics which was quite incredible for a 13 year old!
The cool part? The Harry Potter film directors actually considered filming the movies in the school we stayed at! Sure they ended up going with Oxford, but still ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some Portuguese sentences and share a few Portuguese recipes.
I would love to learn how to play an instrument! I've tried to play the guitar many times but I've sucked everytime... I guess I should try to play another thing!
