Hello! I am a marine science and environmental studies university student that is currently studying abroad at Plymouth University. I am an avid foodie, and love to cook and try new foods wherever I go. I also love to be outdoors and explore whenever possible. I am originally from the suburbs of Chicago, but I go to school in Florida.
As an international student in Plymouth, England, I have been trying to explore the UK and Europe as much as I can. I love it here!

I would love to get a better feel of what it is like to really live in different areas! I feel that staying in hotels or hostels only give you a glimpse of what the culture of the area is like. Also, I would love to make some new friends as I travel as well.

While living on a research vessel in the Bahamas, I snorkeled with 4 feet (1.3 meter) southern stingrays. After working with the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago for three years, I was selected to take part in their High School Marine Biology program and become immersed in Bahamian and coral reef ecosystems.

I really love to cook for people because it has been my role at home since I was very young, and I believe that food is a great way to bring people together. I would love to share a meal and conversation with my hosts!
