Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ideal way to meet up with people from different places - thereby gaining some firsthand knowledge regarding the individuals and their culture.
And as a side bonus; the possibility of new friendships!

Interests

Since I'm on CS, it should go without saying that I'm a travel-enthusiast and furthermore am interested in meeting people; hearing about their views on life and experiencing their respective cultures through them.
In relation to this cultural interest of mine, a central occupation of mine is (human) existentialism and phenomenology/consciousness, and I pursue these subjects through literature, contemplation and enlightening conversations - and Couch Surfing is the perfect platform for facilitating the latter; stimulating conversations.

Furthermore, travelling provides me with superb circumstances for hikes, which I enjoy tremendously, since it's a great opportunity to immerse oneself in the surrounding scenery/nature.
