I'm a 22 years old university student from Hungary living in Vienna with my boyfriend, Balázs. We moved here because Balázs studies Quantitative Finance Master Program here at WU. Meanwhile I study nursing at the Széchenyi University in Győr, Hungary, but with distance learning system. This way I only have to go there once a month, however we go to Hungary to visit our parents every 2-3 weeks.Our families live near Budapest, we grew up there as classmates in highschool, but before moving to Vienna we lived three years in Budapest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With my boyfriend, we would like to travel as much as possible and get to know nice people, beautiful european cities, nature and interesting cultures. At first we visited some hungarian cities, and then we went abroad. , we have already been in several countries together, the Balkan area and Italy are the favourites. My boyfriend is fond of the italian cuisine, and he is a really good chef. Most of the time we travel by car, and camp somewhere or we have cheap flights and sleep in apartments. Because of our age, independency of parents, occupation, we don't have a lot money to spend on traveling. But we love traveling and we try every opportunity to travel more. And this travel community is good for us in various ways: helps with the budget, we get experiences from locals, enjoy their company and friendship. And it's true the opposite way as well, we would like to help other travelers to enjoy more of their journey :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My boyfriend and me, we have similar taste in terms of movies, books, and music. We mostly like art films, our favorites are Youth, Alaska, L'enfant d'en haut, La Grande Bellazza, Léon the professional etc. If we have some freetime, we like to watch a film together, but its really hard to find great movies, I mostly rely on my father's opinion (he is a film editor).
In terms of music, we love almost all genres, there's a wide range of musicians we like for eg.: Ferenc Snétberger, Massive Attack, Chopin, Mendelssohn, Dead can dance, Yann Tiersen, Dikanda, Christian Scott, BBNG, Tracy Chapman etc.
Sadly we don't spend as much time on reading books as we used to do, still sometimes we read something before going to bed. We like literature and classics, educational books and biographys.
