Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to travel, travel, travel, and learn, and never cease to discover. Because Couchsurfing creates opportunities to both meet people and help them out, and does it for free, which can never hurt.

Interests

I've always been interested in a LOT of things, and though I come from a family where art is the primary interest, there are many other things I love, even in science (which is not my field at all, but apparently I can't get enough of black holes, dark matter and spacetime ; go figure). So even if I don't mention everything here, I'm sure I can find a common interest with pretty much everyone. 🙂

Music, Movies, and Books

My main interest is in classical music, but I listen to other kinds of music as well. Crazy about movies and TV shows (huge fan of Doctor Who and Sherlock for example), I also enjoy reading a lot, though in this area my knowledge is more centered around my first language, which is French. Most of all, I love having a good talk about any of this, with anyone ! 😊

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once travelled to Paris with my dad on a night bus. We were planning to go to the Bastille Opera House, which was a huge event for us. We laughed and joked for a huge part of the night and slept quite badly as a result :p
We arrived in Paris at 5 a.m. on a gorgeous, sweet morning, and we enjoyed empty, quiet streets and the sight of all the buildings for more than two hours, admiring the effects of the sunrise all around...
Sunrise in an empty Paris, well... It felt just like walking in a dream.

Teach, Learn, Share

Seeing as for me life is all about sharing (and learning through it), I am always eager to engage with pretty much everyone about music, cinema, and culture in general. If you're interested, I am offering to introduce you to the musical world I both know and love, and I often keep contact with people who really wish to keep digging in this domain. 😉 And since I adore languages as well, I can help you with the few languages I know, and I fully expect you to introduce me to yours, if I don't know it yet !
