Hello, I'm Maël, a fresh new French couchsurfer. I'm 18 and I'm living in Lille where I'm studying, and would love to be part of an Architecture life. I like Art, political reflexions, listening to music, so I could describe me as a curious student. I was used to travel with my grandparent who are now a bit old, so today I'm looking up for traveling by myself.

I'm in favor of these alternative methods of travelling, where the country discovering is initially through the exchange and discussion, making unique the experience. So, through the project Couchsurfing, I aspire to have relationships disconnected from the pecuniary aspect.

Last year I did a bike journey in north belgium during a - really - rainy week with friends. We were used to sleep in the nature or in people's garden, actually that's what I'm looking for : share a true experience.
