About Me

I'm a backpacker 5 months in to a 2 year journey (with a working holiday visa in NZ), online university student in my 5th year studying Communications and Media, lover of food- especially local eats and spicy food, and overall just excited to be ALIVE and see the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be honest I heard about couch surfing years ago and was always sketched out about it because let's be honest... stranger danger. But as I started backpacking I started to hear the most amazing stories and experiences that people had with couch surfing. I think as a backpacker I am always on the search for authentic local experiences, to me that is hitting the jackpot. So what better place to come than here. Also I am always trying to find out the best local eats, so can you help me with that?

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite song is "Where is the Love" by the Black Eyed Peas, because these days I really wonder!? Seriously where the heck is the love people!
Also my go to shower song is "500 Miles" by the Proclaimers

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This one time while up late studying and feeling un-motivated to read one more page on Marshall McLuhan I booked a one way ticket to London, and that was that. That's when I caught the lethal stage 5 travel bug. I don't know if that's amazing but I did give my Mom and Dad a bit of a shock!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to listen. I love sharing my own stories but I am particularly interested to learn from others. I get inspired by people who are authentically themselves.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I feel like this is obvious but I would love to share with you my stories, my experiences, my limited knowledge that I've picked up over my last 23 years on this earth.

Also if you jam I've got a ukelele!

Countries I’ve Visited
