Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The are two main reasons:
1. I know that this is too mainstream but I love traveling and getting to know other cultures. I've worked with people from all over the world and it was simply the best experience of my life. Just by working with them every day I could learn a lot about them that I could have never learned from books, TV or any websites. Couchsurfing could be another great opportunity for me to do this.
2. As I've just finished the university and I don't have a permanent job yet I prefer low-budget trips. While I love traveling the prices are really high, so I always look for the best options. Couchsurfing is a 2 in 1 deal for me: I can meet people from different nations, make friends and not spend a fortune on accomodation.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mainly like rock and pop music but I listen to almost every other genre. My favorite bands are from Hungary like Hooligans and Kowalsky meg a Vega. Coachsurfing community probably doesn't know them, so here are my favorite international ones: P!nk and Ed Sheeran.
From movies, I prefer dramas, thrillers and comedies. Also, I love old movies, especially the ones from Alfred Hitchcock. He's my favorite!
From books, I usually read womens' romans. I love the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. That's almost all I've been reading lately because I keep rereading them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This might sound like a small thing to others but I camped with some friends in a little campsite in Arizona's desert in between all the mountains. Coming from a little village of a little country it felt so amazing to be at a place which I had only seen in movies. That was probably the best part of a Hungarian-Polish-Mexican roadtrip.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach the languages that I speak which means Hungarian, Slovak and English. I could also try to teach the languages I don't really speak but I would like to like French and Spanish. Or somebody else can teach me these languages because I am really interested in learning them. I can share what it's like to live in a minority and growing up being surrounded by two different cultures (Hungarian and Slavic) and two different languages. In spite of not being the best cook, I could make some traditional meals and I would love to learn about other nations' cuisine and try some meals. Also, I would like to learn about anything else people can share with me. I love taking photos. I am not an expert in it but we I can share my experiences and photos from my European and US trips. Aaaand I could share my love for sports (mainly football). I can talk and talk about football all night long. Don't let it confuse you that I'm a woman. I can't help it, I just love it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My love for traveling and my traveling experience, my culture and my funny personality (everybody tells me this, so I must believe them). And most importantly my friendship because I love to get to know other cultures by making friends from different countries. I have close friends from Ireland, the US and México and I wouldn't trade them for the world.
