A person with a positive outlook, though not blissfully ignorant. I have had trouble in my life accepting or dealing with the way American society requires you to operate. I'm not angry, so much as bored, and lacking in true connection to my world. I'm looking to meet more open hearted and open minded people. I absolutely love talking to new people. I love to listen to others experiences as well as share my own. I believe that studying can bring knowledge, but only experience can bring true wisdom. I'm not stranger to hard work, I am by nature very compassionate, as well as easy to get along with. I am well read, and have many useful, practical skills. Although i may have high self esteem, I do keep in my heart a healthy level of humility, and a constant reminder that life's not nearly as serious as I lead myself to believe most of the time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I may possibly be leaving my home soon, to go on some sort of adventure. I have no idea what yet, but I know it will be good for me. My life lately had really been nothing short of discouraging. And I simply cannot allow myself to get into another bad mindset. I want to explore, adventure, and experience life. Whether good, bad, or indifferent. I need more stories, I need more freinds, and I need more memories.

Music, Movies, and Books

Far too much music to narrow down to a list, but I will always be a huge deadhead. I love bob seger, and bob marley as well. But my taste ranges generally anywhere from hank Williams senior, to some lil Wayne. So again lots of music. Favorite movies include: shawshank redemption, blow, pulp fiction, the big lebowski, any musical documentary. Favorite books are anything by Hunter s thompson, the lord of the rings and the hobbit. Grapes of wrath.
