I have enjoyed traveling the world and studying dances in various countries, and then sharing I learned with youth that I worked with here in Cleveland, Ohio. I love organic gardening, dancing, nature, swimming and soaking. I explore vegan Cooking to various results! And I love connecting with people.

Exploring! I am new to this but it is more in line with my belief that if we share our gifts, we have everything that we need. I was always a traveler living in homes in various situations around the world, and that's how I really got to know a culture and its people.

兴趣

I started a small non-profit organization in Cleveland which I directed for 18 years. The focus was bringing people together across perceived lines of difference through various arts experiences. I opened a small arts center in the inner city where we offered youth camps, Community events, a Community garden and kitchen, and numerous classes in dance, percussion, music, visual art, poetry, photography and more.

I ran the organization as a full-time volunteer because I did not want to want to mix my heart work with making money. I started small hospitality business and have very simple places that are conveniently located. Sometimes I have openings and can host people who are visiting Cleveland for a few days.

I love music! I can't say that there's any genre that I could exclude as I am very open-minded. I find myself listening to a lot of world music, especially from Guinea.

The first time I traveled to Guinea, I signed up for a workshop that was 6 weeks long and at the end of that Workshop realized that the artists were not paid. With my Guinean teachers, I set up fair trade drum and dance workshops so that the artists would be paid a fair wage and be able to gain from the experience of running their own workshops.

I gather the people in the US, Europe and Iceland and help them with travel Arrangements, visas, and bringing the necessary items and getting necessary vaccinations. The artists in Guinea set up the ground and boat travel there, as well as organizing the artists, various locations where we hold the workshops, food and accommodations.

I love learning about people and how you see these precious moments called life. I have explored so much in a conversation and by checking out what others are into.

I can share some rhythms from Guinea, West Africa both on drums and dances. I also know some songs from Guinea. I can also share the basics from various dances from around the world, such as Bhangra and dandiya raas from India; and capoeira and maculele Brazil. I love hearing about the dances and cultures of those I meet -- What was life like in your home growing up. What foods or healing ways or dances were part of your upbringing?

I find myself helping people with getting their ideas off the ground especially in the non -profit world.
