I like meeting interesting people and getting to hear about a place through their eyes. I’ve been quite nomadic most of my life, and among other things enjoy cycling (long distance especially), painting, exploring things less seen and honing my wilderness skills.
I like to think that I’m friendly and easygoing, also independent.

I’m on couch surfing as a hope to meet locals and get a deeper insight into the different cities and cultures I am lucky enough to be surrounded by. I have been part of a household in Tasmania that frequently hosted couch surfers, meeting many great people. I am Here to learn and provide whatever I can in the way of stories of my own experience (along with whatever cooking, cleaning etc I can help with)

hard to list music here, I have such a broad taste that is always evolving.
Same with movies, but I always enjoy a good Australian movie (easy to laugh at ourselves) anime, horror or surrealist film.
I like reading autobiographical accounts, with David Sedaris being my favourite author in that realm. As far as fiction goes, it would have to be Donna Tart, Dostoyevsky, Kafka and Kurt Vonnegut.
Any Philosophy, and Eastern European literature.
