One of my biggest dreams is to be able to say one day that I've been around the world and I'm getting closer, one step at a time. I love travelling to discover new cultures : the food, the music, the lifestyle of other people in the world. That's why I prefer to travel by couchsurfing, it allows me to truly immerse myself in the culture of the country in which I am visiting. I can meet people all over the world and enjoy their experiences and advice. I think this is the best way to travel if you are looking for more than just beautiful scenery.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This summer I went camping in Ontario with my best friend (we live in Quebec), the same morning we used the GPS that my friend bought at the same time as her car, but we had not made the update. We drove for several hours and passed the borders of Ontario. At one point, we saw signs with indications for the United States and we realized that the GPS was passing us through the USA. Fortunately, we brought our passport just in case. We had never crossed the US customs alone, but we were able to pass and bypassed Lake Erie to return to Ontario where was the campsite we had booked. It was supposed to take us 7 hours, it took us 12 but we laughed a lot. I think unforseen like this are the beauty of a trip. It makes us stories to tell and beautiful memories to remember.
