I am 21 years old and live in Aarhus, Denmark. I finished the Danish equivalent to high school in 2016 and, like a lot of other young Danes, I am now on my sabbatical years, traveling and gaining knowledge of the world beyond what school and books can give me.

I spent the first of my gap years traveling around in South America and working in a kindergarten when I was home. Since I came home in the summer of 2017, I have worked on a Danish folk high school (sort of similar to a boarding school) for disabled people, which has been really inspiring and challenging.

And now I'm ready to travel again! This time the main destinations are USA and Colombia.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I like learning about different cultures and how things are done and people think in different parts of the world. When I travel I really enjoy exploring and getting close to local society, and Couchsurfing is a unique opportunity to do so.

This is my first time on Couchsurfing, so bear with me :)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I have always listened to a lot of music, but never really got to play myself. I mostly listen to rock music (artists as different as Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Leonard Cohen, Mogwai and various weird Danish punk bands), but I always like being introduced to new acts and genres and expanding my taste in music.

My favorite book at the moment is probably "Sapiens - A brief history of humankind".
