I think I have a constant need for movement, I need to travel, to walk, to meet new people, to discover new cultures. I am curious about everything and I like to learn new things. I am passionate about the environment and I like being able to put a name on the species that I see, so I spend my summer with my binoculars, my butterfly net and identification guides on birds, plants and insects . I do my best to limit my impact on the environment and I try to raise awareness about this problem. I was born in an equestrian center and I think I would ride all my life. I think this is one of my favorite things: being in the wild with my horses and hiking with them!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me a trip is above all meetings! It has happened to me to arrive in a city and not know where to sleep (the hotels are really too expensive for me ...) and in this case there are not many options: you have to go to talk to people and to be housed in someone's home. At first I did not dare to do that, but I met people so kind and welcoming that it made me want to start again! Couchsurfing allows me to do this abroad, to meet people all over the world and to discuss the country in which I am with people who live there all year round!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love sleeping in nature, if possible without a tent, it gives me the impression of being integrated into the world around me! a few years ago, while I was camping wild in Spain a young fox came right next to me to search my stuff. He was very playful and did not pay attention to me so I could watch him for long minutes. he took the time to completely undo the laces of one of my shoes, and he threw my sandal into the areas to try to catch up with it. But he did something even more incredible, once he got tired of playing with my shoes, he came to nibble my hair! it was then that I made him understand that I was awake and that I was not something to eat!
