I am a 31yo female New Zealander living in Sydney for the last 7yrs, prior to that I lived in the UK.
I work for a Global tech company as a Project Manager while also completing my MBA part-time. I love travelling, learning new languages, I have an eclectic taste in books and music. I enjoy travelling solo, and have volunteered as a English teacher, Community development coordinator and crisis respondent coordinator for NGOs in the Middle East and Asia.

My friends would describe me as outgoing, fun and confident but that's probably because I am more myself around those I feel comfortable with.
I can at times be a little quiet, don't take that as a negative I am still getting to know you. I am respectful of others, especially in their personal space. I love most music genres, and I love to go out dancing (especially Salsa! I'm no good at it but love the Latin vibe). I am a bookworm, so I do a lot of reading, when I am in a new place I like to venture out and explore the sights. I am not much of a party person, but I do enjoy a good vino or two.
I think I a fairly open minded person, I will try most things once and always hope for the best!
I am learning french, to meditate and am reading a lot of books on Eckart Tolle, Teal Swan, Byron Katie and Yung Pueblo. I do enjoy the occasional political conversation, but as long as ideals are not imposed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well as much as I love travelling solo, it would be a nice change to experience the culture with the locals. I have never couchsurf'd before, but a lot of my friends have had great experiences with it.
I am usually an airbnb type of traveller, but we only live once so why not!
