About Me

I'm a 20 year old law student who loves traveling, writing, and graphic design. I've only been to a few countries but I hope to go to one new country every year! I have a problem with getting attached to the places I travel to so I always get so sad whenever I leave them... so I thought, why not make it harder for myself by meeting people and friends there, right?

I really love the calm that the beach brings but I'd also consider myself as a city dweller, I love cities like Hong Kong and Taipei that really pulse with energy at and any given time. Always up for an adventure! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to meet other travelers who happen to go to the same places I do, or maybe even in the place I live. Always down to make new friends :) I've also tried Couchsurfing and met some really really lovely people through this website so I'm looking to continue that happy streak!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to RnB and chill songs, but I also have a soft spot for Ariana Grande and Filipino artists.

My favorite movie is In the Mood for Love and 13 Going on 30. I love watching mindless chick flicks but am occasionally in the mood for arthouse and movies with a deeper meaning, especially those that reflect the history and culture of the place I'm traveling to.

My favorite book is If on a winter night a traveler, by Italo Calvino.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Woke up one day, had a dream I went to a city 12 hours away from where I live. Randomly packed a bag and made my dream come true -- spent 4 days in the Cordillera Mountains in the Philippines! (Failed to bring an appropriate jacket and was freezing so I had to buy a windbreaker from a secondhand store)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Filipino culture and politics, advice from a psychology graduate, tips on graphic design, recommended movies and TV Shows, how to speak Tagalog/Filipino, makeup tutorials, and of course, a travel buddy!

Countries I’ve Visited

Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan
