Hi! My name is Juan Cruz. After working for 10 years as a teacher and lifeguard, I’ve decided to set that life aside for a while and start traveling the world!!!

I’m currently living in Noosa, Australia.
I’ve been traveling through Southeast Asia, Europe, and South America.
I love sports — right now I’m surfing and playing beach volleyball.
I’m passionate about music; I play the guitar and rehearse with a percussion ensemble that focuses on Latin and African rhythms.

I’m traveling solo because this journey also has a deep purpose of self-discovery. I believe that learning from other cultures will enrich both my spirit and my understanding of the world.
This is a project I’ve been putting off for many years, so I’m going all in to make it a reality!

I’m very skilled and creative when it comes to hands-on tasks, and I’m a patient listener who enjoys having meaningful conversations.

I hope to meet people with good vibes who are open to sharing their culture! :)

Hola! mi nombre es Juan Cruz, después de trabajar durante 10 años como profesor y Guardavidas, he decidido dejar de lado esa vida por un tiempo y comenzar a viajar por el mundo!!!
Me encuentro viviendo en Australia, Noosa.
He estado viajando por el sudeste asiático, Europa y sudamerica.
Me encantan los deportes, en este momento estoy surfeando y jugando beachvoley.
Amo la música, toco la guitarra y ensayo junto a en un ensamble de percusión de ritmos latinos y africanos.

Viajo solo porque este viaje también tiene un gran motivo de autoconocimiento, y creo que aprender de otras culturas también enriquecerá mi espíritu y mis conocimientos acerca del mundo. Es un proyecto que venia postergando hace muchos años por lo tanto voy con todas mis fuerzas para hacerlo realidad! Soy muy habilidoso y creativo para resolver tareas manuales y muy paciente para escuchar y entablar conversaciones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the age of 30, I left a life behind — working as a teacher in many schools, running my own gym, and teaching at a university. I made the decision to let go of that entire chapter and start traveling, and I truly believe this is nothing short of an incredible adventure.
