Overview
About Me
Hey there! I’m an adventurous, easygoing guy who thrives on being active and outdoors—whether it’s rallying on a tennis court, hiking up scenic trails, or just soaking in the beauty of nature under an open sky. I’ve always been drawn to exploration, both in the literal and metaphorical sense, believing that life’s best moments are experienced when you step outside your comfort zone. After completing my master’s degree in Oregon, I’ve grown even more connected to the beauty and serenity of the outdoors, from the lush forests of the Pacific Northwest to the rugged coastline that never ceases to amaze me.
I live for those moments that take your breath away—a sunrise on a mountain, a stunning waterfall after a long hike, or the glow of a bonfire under the stars. But life isn’t just about the big adventures for me; I also find joy in the little things, like the smell of fresh coffee, an engaging conversation, or the excitement of learning something new.
When I’m not out chasing sunsets or perfecting my tennis serve, you’ll probably find me immersing myself in other cultures, exploring unfamiliar cuisines, or diving into stories—be it through books, movies, or personal exchanges. I like to think of myself as a curious global citizen, always looking for meaningful connections and moments of inspiration in every corner of the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, travel is about so much more than seeing places or snapping photos—it’s about people. Couchsurfing embodies that belief by offering an opportunity to connect with locals, share unique perspectives, and create moments that go far beyond the superficial. While hotels and hostels may offer comfort, they can’t match the genuine human interaction and the cultural immersion you get when staying with a host who’s passionate about sharing their world.
I’m on Couchsurfing to meet like-minded adventurers, swap stories, and hopefully create friendships that last well beyond the trip. Whether it’s a deep conversation over a homemade meal or wandering through hidden gems in your city, I’m all in for experiences that leave a mark. I truly believe that the best way to learn about a place is through the eyes of those who call it home, and I’d love to contribute my own stories and energy to the exchange.
Interests
I’m passionate about the outdoors and staying active! Whether it’s playing an intense tennis match that keeps my heart racing or embarking on a hike that leads to awe-inspiring views, I’m always ready for an adventure. I also love water sports—kayaking on a calm lake or trying something more exhilarating like rafting or zip-lining. If it involves movement, fresh air, and a bit of adrenaline, I’m all in.
But my interests go far beyond the physical. I have a deep appreciation for cultures and traditions, and I love exploring the unique quirks of each place I visit. Be it a tiny café tucked away in a side street, a lively festival, or a centuries-old ritual, I’m always drawn to the details that make every destination special.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my most memorable experiences was completing a solo road trip across multiple states. Starting in Oregon, I ventured through breathtaking national parks, quaint small towns, and bustling cityscapes. It wasn’t just about the incredible destinations—it was about the freedom of the journey, the thrill of navigating on my own, and the surprising friendships that made the trip unforgettable.
Another standout moment was summiting a challenging peak with a group of fellow hikers. The trail pushed us to our limits, but reaching the top was worth every step. The views were stunning, and the camaraderie we shared along the way made the experience even more special. It taught me the value of persistence, teamwork, and the joy of earning your rewards.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’d love to teach you some tennis basics or share my favorite hiking tips if you’re into exploring the great outdoors. I’ve also got plenty of travel stories to share—ranging from funny misadventures to heartwarming encounters—and I’m always happy to dive into discussions about sustainability, cultural differences, or the simple joys of life.
In return, I’m eager to learn from you! Whether it’s a traditional dish from your culture, a quirky custom, or a few phrases in your language, I’m all ears. Sharing meals, exchanging laughter, and discovering each other’s stories are the kinds of connections I cherish.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a guest, I bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and a genuine respect for your space and hospitality. I’d be happy to cook something simple (or learn your favorite recipe!), share a laugh over stories, or join you in an activity you love—be it a hike, a tennis match, or a stroll through your neighborhood.
I’m also happy to pitch in wherever needed, whether it’s tidying up, helping with a project, or simply being a good listener. Ultimately, I want to make my stay as enjoyable for you as it will be for me—because I believe the best experiences come from a spirit of mutual generosity and curiosity. Let’s create some great memories together!
