Growing up is a waste of time. So i figure mature with travel, because through travel life takes a look through different eyes

ABOUT ME

I am 24 years old, I am tall and what some would say I am skinny. I started traveling as a young individual(part of a family) all around Canada and the United States. I didn't really know what to do with myself during college but a friend of mine said come on lets go to Europe! So I went and I loved it! absolutely loved it. being on my own and functioning like the pioneers on the Oregon trail. Just trying to make my way. Then when I got back I still did a little of fun in the US and went back to Europe again by my self. It was great to understand who I really was. I admit sleeping on the streets wasn't a lot of fun but, I didn't learn about couchsurfing.com until the week after I got back. (bummer) I absolutely love the idea of experiences. I love meeting people and trying new things like eating ants, and canyoning. this is me and this is a great life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was in Berlin and needed a place to stay. I didn't know a lick of German but i was destined to find someone. I was walking on a train and I found this young man who helped me. He let me surf his couch. I asked him...Can you take me to a German style restaurant? He said yeah and pulled into a KFC. That is when I knew Germans really want to be like Americans....haha. This Was the first and I don't plan for it to be the last!

Interests

Wonders, Communication (foreign or english, and I love body language), Outdoors, architecture, people, life stories, dancing, most anything that makes my mind work, food, culture, kids, elderly travelers (they tend to have more money), and pretty much anything inbetween, snowboarding, mountain biking, road biking, movies, books, story telling, wood working, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I slept on the streets in Cinque Terre, and saw the beautiful moon set on the mediterranian sea! Spent many joyful night in the Frank Church Wilderness in Idaho. I have Traveled Europe twice. Been skiing in Whistler Blackcomb for two days. Been to the opening ceremonies of the World Cup. Walked Crater of the moon in Idaho. Climbed a mountain in the Wilderness.
