to know all the kind and compassionate people of this world
I have lived in Eilat for almost 21 years... I spend my days working for a semiconductor design center as a technical writer, and part of every week I take care of my son who's 12 years old and who I love to bits. Some evenings you can find me on the beach, which is my favourite place to chill.
Live and let live...it is always good to dismantle the stereotypes that are fed to us by the mass media.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love having new friends come to stay. My life is so much brighter because of it. My first couchsurfing experience was in England about 21 years ago with a sister of a friend from South Africa. I slept on her (not so comfortable) couch for 2 weeks, but I was so grateful for her kindness. She had just been fired from her job the same day I arrived, but because of this she was free to take me on a road trip to Devon and Cornwall.
I have a curious mind... I'm interested in so many things... like how computers work. Pastry baking and trance parties used to be my passion, but now I'm more interested in dreaming!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I like adventures and I usually try to have one a year ;) one of the craziest was sailing a small yacht with 5 others from Eilat to Herzelia, going up the Gulf of Suez and due to so many problems including losing our engine and electricity, we had to turn back to Sharm el Sheikh. We had a close up view of oil rigs, container ships the size of buildings, green phosphoresence, and a rain of shooting stars (the Leonids).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make choux a la creme (profiteroles!), or show you Orion. I am always curious to learn about other cultures and I will share with you my tolerance and my respect.
