One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My wife and I and two friends were caught in a riot in Trelawny, Jamaica. Four white workers surrounded by a mob of angry and screaming Jamaicans after being directed down a wrong way street. They swarmed over our truck, hitting it, smacking the windshields, throwing bottles...we were finished it seemed, there was no where to go. Then the we heard a banging on our back bumber, they were going to tip the car. No, it was leveler heads pounding for us to back up and leave. It was the true Jamaicans in the mob that stood up and apart from the mob and allowed us to move on.
