About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling The Caribbean for 3 months. Hoping to island hop from Dominican Republic all the way to Trinidad and Tobago.

ABOUT ME

I'm the friendliest guy you are ever likely to meet. No, seriously, I really think I am. And not boring friendly either. I'm a big sports fan (particularly football) and after travelling in South America and Central America I'm hoping to experience everything that the Caribbean has to offer. Whether it be beaches, volcanoes, boiling lakes or jungle, I want it all. I speak a little Spanish and would love to speak more.
I'm a lot of fun to be around and love to meet new people from all nations. I really like the differences in phrases used around the world. For example, in England, if we think that something will never happen we say "Pigs might fly" but in French they say "when chicken have teeth".
I don't take life too seriously and can always see the funny side of things.
I've been on couchsurfers for a few years but have yet to use it as I do like the hostel scene but maybe I'm ready to experience some of the things that aren't in the Lonely Planet guide.

There's a lot more to me than the above but I will stop here as otherwise I could go on all night.

PHILOSOPHY

I have a very Buddhist mentality. Live for now without thinking too much about your past. And if you make a plan for the future and fail, don't be too hard on yourself...just make a new plan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been a member of Couchsurfers for 3 years but haven't used it until now because I do love the hostel scene but maybe I'm finally ready to experience something that isn't in the lonely Planet guidebook. That's where you guys come in.
