waiting for snow
Well I am quite a happy guy usually, at least when not working which is actually most of the time since i finished university a few years ago. Now I live the life I chose to live, doing nothing but things i want to do. Being responsible only for my own actions, no car, no house, no more things than I can pack into a big backpack... That makes me happy :) To me this is freedom. At the moment that´s the best life for me, it will change one day, I can feel it coming, but until then I enjoy it as much as possible and later I´ll find a different way to enjoy it.
Live and travel, worry about work on the way... if you really have to...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well so far I guess by using other peoples couches letting them use mine, going to parties and hanging around the website a bit...
Yes was always somewhere between OK and great :)
Other than that outdoor activities of any kind and reading.
Hanging around the Internet too much.
Music, Movies, and Books
Limits to Growth - The 30 years update
(The most important book I have read in the last years)
apart from that:
Gary Paulsen: Winterdance
Farley Mowat: Never Cry Wolf
Jon Krakauer: Into the wild
And many others that I just can´t think about right now...
Latest great movies I´ve seen:
Zeitgeist (when it comes to world view documentaries)
Gran Torino (good movie from Hollywood ?!?!)
Bienvenue chez les ch´tis (great french comedy)
Crank: High Voltage (friggin´ hilarious action movie!!! I was laughing so much, it´s really better than any hollywood comedy)
I am not so much into music really, but sometimes I pick up stuff while traveling, like Bubbi Morthens in Iceland and Noir Desire in France.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Loads of Traveling and all the things you experience while doing that. Definitely too much to write it all down. It´s also a personal thing, for me it was the greatest thing in the world to hang around in a hammock for 5 days without break on the Amazon rivers, but I guess most other people would die of boredom ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
Always learning, probably not patient enough with others to be a good teacher, which is why I chose a different profession, but always happy to share. Stories for example...or travel tips :)
