Music, Movies & Books

Animations... Le roi et l'oiseau (Paul Grimault and Jacques Prévert), Spirited Away, Akira, My Neighbour Totoro and other japanimation masterpieces.
Oh, I like movies too, many great realisators... here's an exhaustive list... no kidding!

One of my favorite book is Océan-Mer from Alessandro Baricco.

Those times, I mostly read graphic novels.

I read many books from Castaneda.
I like fantastic and sci-fi books. I've been marked particularly by Dan Simmons, Asimov, Van Vogt. I like historical and lyric novels, poesy.

Here's a couple of bands I actually listen to:
Arizona Amp and Alternator, Husky Rescue, Seabear, Kings of Convenience, Iron & Wine, General Elektriks, Sufjan Stevens, Kaki King, A Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra, Badly Drawn Boy, Under Byen, Calexico, Bon Iver, Fela Kuti, Andrew Bird, Jennifer Charles, many jazz masters.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Travelling with my bicycle.

To be alone for 72 hours on an island without food.

I've seen a northern light in Montreal.

I've seen many huge containers filled with fresh and exotic fruits & vegetables.

I heard howling of a wolf pack while staring at a huge fire in front of a lake reflecting millions of stars.

I had an encounter with a voodoo sorcerer in Benin

Teach, Learn, Share

Some spare bikes to share.

I can learn you some things about music I know, give ski lessons, show you how to ride properly a crazy carpet, tips about winter biking, footbag tricks, Montreal nice spots. I can share some amateur photography knowledge, teach you how to longboard, how to recognize some birds, techniques to control your dreams, some graphism stuff, swearing in French and such.

I want to learn to social dances such as tango, salsa, cha-cha.
I want to learn unique things you know, share ideas, share simple and responsible lifestyle. I want to learn about you. Your experience. Your family. Your culture.
