Join Couchsurfing to see Thomas’s full profile. It’s free!
Born in France, I travel the world since 2007. I prefer to stay in local communities and help with social and environmental projects rather than "tick off" places and see things from an air-conditioned bus. I consider myself a traveler not a tourist. I work at the same time with my girlfriend Ruth from Nicaragua, she's a yoga teacher and massage therapist, you can check her website here www.solerayoga.com. Together we've created the community project http://www.weareco.org and wrote a book about the evolution toward a greener and more collaborative living (check it, it's available on free access!): http://bit.ly/1DP6YIP
You can also check my blog where I write about globalization, local economies and alternative currencies: www.thomaspichon.com
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I appreciate meeting people from different backgrounds who want to make the world a bit friendlier and also I believe in responsible traveling. Unfortunately, I am not able to host at the moment because I am traveling and don't have a place of my own, but when I do, you're invited to stay with me!
