ABOUT ME

Hi!

We are a couple (3 years together now -omg!) and we love to have fun, our sorts that involves spending time together, going to the movies (we enjoy Almodovar and Jarmusch - and we LOVE Tim Burton!), also we are huge fans of photography (Andrew is a semi-pro and travels everywhere will all sorts of equipement that Malwina doesn't quite understand!). We are calm people who enjoy good company and like a good laugh!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Neither Malwina, nor Andrew have couchsurfed before but Malwina have much experience in living in a foreign enviroment as she used to be an exchange student in the USA (one year in an American family) and been an aupair 3 times in Ireland (summer '06, '07 and '08) she enjoyed her stays and keeps in touch with pretty much everyone. Andrew has lived in Denmark with a friend for about 3 months so can be a good couchsurfer.

Interests

As I mentioned before, we like music, literature, movies and photography. Oh yes, and travelling!

Music, Movies, and Books

Malwina likes punk rock and pop rock, she is a huge fan of No Doubt and The Offspirng, she also loves polish alternative music. Andrew is a Bjork fan and has (as he likes to call it) a more "sophisticated" taste in music.

We are both a huge Prattchett fans and read the Disc World Novels that arrive in Poland, Malwina's personal favorites are stories about the witches, Andrew prefers Rincewind.
Malwina also likes detective stories such as: Agatha Christie, Janet Evanovich - and what Andrew jokes that he is ashamed of Harry Potter.

We enjoy nothing more than a good movie. We are Tim Burton fans and love his dark convention (Malwina also loves Johny Depp), we like Jim Jarmusch, Tarantina and Almodovar. We are not sure about Lynch yet... Malwina also likes the movie "Virgin Suicides" by Sophia Copolla.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Malwina says: I witnessed a child being brought to a new house for the first time, I tought a baby to make its first steps, I fell in love and made someone love me. What is most important I follow my dreams but don't hurt anyone in the process!

Teach, Learn, Share

Malwina used to work as a Tarot Reader (by text messages) and has esoteric knowledge - but that is something we only joke about now. We love to talk about our culture and share our experiences with everyone. Malwina used to work as a nanny so she doesn't mind a household with kids and Andrew is a great photographer and can make exceptional portraits :)
