About Me

Having the most fun!

Basically I'm into music, art, shows, food, adventure, travel, learning, outdoors, snapping pics, parties, dancing, and having fun!

I'm pretty easy to get along with so I'll do my best not to stress you while I'm humbly being your guest or host! I'm independent and also reliable so I'm low maintenance!

I got bit by the travel bug at a young age. I have my mom to thank for that because she thought it was important to take us on some road trips out of Michigan. She also took me to the Netherlands and Germany! At 14 I don't think I was the best travel companion but... I did have fun. Thanks mom! I've been very fortunate to have been able to travel quite a bit. When I was 18 I went to Guatemala for 3 months. I lived with a family and took a crash course in Spanish. I was clueless when I arrived but when I left I could at least speak in two tenses. I ended up going back a few years later and stayed for 5 months. Those travels really influenced the shaping of who I am.

One thing I love about traveling is what I learn, learn about others and learn about myself. I love meeting people from all over the world and people who love to travel!

It's never too late to do anything! Even when life gets you down you have to take a break from stress and just have fun! I'm just trying to enjoy life as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couchsurfing when I started getting sad about how long it had been since I had traveled. One of the great things about traveling is all the interesting people that you meet. I had heard about couchsurfing a long time ago before it had developed into this technological website. I was reminded of it when I saw a podcast on Current tv about this guy's couchsurfing experience. I figured if I can't be on the road then I should bring the road to me! :) So I'm hoping to host a bit although not many travelers are headed to GR and I would like to try surfing at one point.

Update! I have hosted! I have surfed! I've organized! :-)

I've hosted and surfed a handful of times. I've also organized the Coachella Mega CS campsite 2011 & 2012 and have attended Coachella the last 2010-2012 with Csers.
