There is so much world out there, and I think the only way to live succesfully is to learn as much as possible about others! To learn from successes and mistakes. To learn to value, respect and love people and places that are different than my immediate life right now.

I try to model my life after the life of Jesus of Nazereth. He loved. Period. He understood grace. Period.

Favorite Authors include...John Steinbeck (East of Eden, Cannery Row, Grapes of Wrath, Winter of our Discontent, etc.) and Kurt Vonnegut (Bluebeard, Sirens of Titan, Cat's Cradle, and Welcome to the Monkey House, to name a few) and Dave Eggers (Hearbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, What is the What?). Other favorite books are A Seperate Peace by John Knowles and On the Road by Jack Kerouac.

I just finished Bang, Crunch Stories by Neil Smith and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathon Safran Foer and I enjoyed both very much.

I love to cook, and I love teaching people to cook.

I am an event planner, and I love using the skills I have learned over the past 5 years to help people learn that they do not have to be afraid of planning parties, weddings, and other functions! I love helping people organize what they want to do, and helping see them accomplish pulling together a great event.
